A Family Law Practice

appeals and post-judgement proceedings

Even after the initial judgement in your case has been rendered, there may still be complex issues that require resolution. Perhaps the result is not what you had hoped, and a motion to appeal seems necessary. It might be that the judgement involves the transfer of assets, or further negotiations about exactly how certain steps are to be approached. Rulings involving custody rights and division of assets will often require further use of legal counsel.

Thorpe Law will continue to represent your interests post-judgement, and will work with you to turn around any less-than-optimal result from a judgement. If you feel that your prior legal team has not done right by you, remember that you have every right to bring on a new team and pursue an appeal. We will always be honest with you about your chances of success.
